Experienced international arbitrators and arbitration practitioners from law firms provided a practical introduction on how best to use arbitration in commercial matters and discuss arbitration in Hong Kong at HKIAC to the legal and business community in Yangon. 80 people attended the event which was held on 24 July with speakers including Sheila Ahuja (Allen & Overy), Denis Brock (O’Melveny), Robert Pé (Arbitration Chambers), Kiran Sanghera (HKIAC), and Mary Thomson (Pacific Chambers). The seminar was particularly current given the increased interest in investment from Asian parties, including Mainland China through its Belt and Road Initiative.
