Xi is the Chief Representative of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) Beijing Office.

 

Prior to joining HKIAC, Xi served as Deputy General Manager of the International Legal Affairs Department at Sinochem Holdings Co. Ltd. In this role, she managed international legal disputes for the Sinochem Group and provided legal guidance on key issues, including trade compliance, antitrust filings, and foreign investment reviews.

 

From 2015 to 2021, Xi was Senior Counsel at the Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Center (BAC), where she led initiatives in marketing, branding, and external communications. She managed over 700 arbitration cases and facilitated collaborations with arbitration institutions and government agencies worldwide. Her main achievements include serving as BAC’s delegate to UNCITRAL Working Group II, contributing to the formulation of BAC’s International Investment Arbitration Rules, and leading key initiatives such as the China-Africa Joint Arbitration Mechanism.
