HKIAC organised a workshop on deal making and dispute resolution in commercial transactions on 18 November at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. Working with local partners, the National Commercial Arbitration Centre of Cambodia (NCAC) and EuroCham Cambodia, the event attracted over 100 attendees from the legal and business community in Cambodia. Experienced speakers discussed topics such as deal making with foreign partners; common challenges in M&A deals; challenges in commercial deals including cross border transactions; dispute resolution and enforcement options; ways to maximise asset recovery; the role of Hong Kong as a dispute resolution venue for China-related disputes.
